Ideas for your church, organization or community groups to help stop the suffering.
"I hear your voice, it's wisperin' in science and in medicine I was a stranger you took me in."
--Bono, of the band U2

The reason I'm inspired again is art. The artistry of U2.

You see, U2 holds this church service called the Vertigo tour and I'm reminded today of that heavenly screen honoring God with the words of the UN Declaration of Human Rights. I will not forget. I can't forget. We will not forget them. Hold these children in your heart today.

If this Sunday, November 13th, you (or your church or community or friends or even your dog) want to do more than pray. Read on!

What can you do? Let action prove your compassion. Little things matter. Awareness matters.

The International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church takes place next Sunday, November 13th.

2. Can you read these children's stories to your kids in your group (or let them read them)? http://www.persecution.com/idop/downloads/IDOPKids.pdf

3. Can you play this powerpoint for you group? http://www.persecution.com/idop/downloads/IDOP_05.ppt (Nevermind if you think it's inflamitory or manipulative. The facts are the facts. Fundamentalism is fundamentalism and puts beliefs above people's lives. If you don't like it, read the facts and re-present them in your way. It's better to do something rather than nothing).

4. Can you read the script of one of these plays for your group? http://www.persecution.com/idop/downloads/dramatic_readings.pdf

5. Can you follow along with this responsive reading with your group? http://www.persecution.com/idop/downloads/Litany_of_Prayer.pdf

Can you? Yea, I think so! For them you can!
