COMPASSIONATE ACTION MISSION:
To help the most disadvantaged people around the world survive in the short term in preparation for longer term solutions.

WHAT THIS MEANS: There are many organizations that can help people thrive in the long run and we whole heartedly support those organizational efforts. There are also many efforts focused on humanitarian relief when the underlying causes of the humanitarian crisis have not been adequately addressed (such as genocide, war, famine and poverty). If the underlying cause is solved, the humanitarian crisis will be resolved in relatively short order.

WHO AND HOW WE SERVE:
We exist to empower and motivate people. We do this by providing information, encouragement, inspiration, motivation and support so that you can take the action you feel is best to help preserve lives now. This information and encouragement is centralized and will be made widely available using our web site.

People in need of life saving action are the people we want to serve.

Compassionate action projects might include giving money, bringing emotional, physical and mental healing, prayer, writing letters to political leaders, issuing press releases, organizing and holding rallies, visiting someone in need, being a friend, encouraging military intervention efforts, encouraging peace making efforts, packaging and sending food through an aid organization, etc.

We also encourage the formation of local chapters with chapter leadership being local and decentralized.

WHAT COMPASSIONATE ACTION IS NOT:
The purpose of the Compassionate Action is NOT self promotion, extreme or exclusive political party promotion or the promotions of an organization.

THE COMPASSIONATE ACTION WEBSITE:
Publishing rights are given to various individuals and organizations to promote issues and solutions to short term needs around the world. Actions must be provided on the Compassionate Action web site that anybody can do from their hometown anywhere in the world. Activist actions must be provided by every individual, organization or political party that is granted publishing rights and web site posting rights by the Compassionate Action administration. Without a "practical action" section of a web page, publishing rights will be revoked.
